Don't worry, I get a huge bee in my bonnet when nurses are depicted in skimpy uniforms and portrayed as sexy & immoral. It makes my blood boil.
Your priest comment has made me smile too. Right now I bless some of the lawyers I have met since I fled my husband 18 months ago!
I love how the rant finished with a smile inducing comment.
Busy mom of 3...my husband is a nurse and I hate it when he is depicted as sexy and immoral too...hahaha. No really I do. Bless honest and hard working lawyer...great post!
I cop it all the time as well (doubly so being an ex-Tasmanian!). I'm an environmental lawyer/regulator and take great pride in ensuring people treat the environment responsibly. I've learnt to take it with a grain of salt though, and as wise people will say, it often says a lot more about them than it does about you. There's good and bad in most things - especially so in TV presenters. P.S. Also love Pete Cundall - he and Attenborough are idols.
This sounds great and has inspired me to get into my cottage garden and give it a new lease on life. Thank you will see how it turns out!
