I love Christmas, especially the planning and preparation beforehand. So far all I have done (besides the necessary present shopping) is stockpile the ingredients needed to make brownie mixes, cakes and biscuits for presents and of course plum pudding! I think I really enjoy having an excuse to cook!
Hi Jane,
I find each year, I get a little more joy from a 'corny Christmas'. Yesterday I made Hubbie buy the newspaper because I wanted the free CD with old crooners singing carols that came with it! LOL I love it! I want the children to be able to look back and say " remember mum used to play those CDs with those old songs when we put the Christmas tree up and she would pretend that she was singing, she was so embarrasing!!".
Sad to say that I am becoming more like my own mother, who is known to wear antlers or badges and earings that play music!!!
Bring it on, I say, Nothing like making the kids have a good laugh at their mother and creating a season of joy at the same time!
I have been creating lots. You can check it out on my blog. Have loved doing it.
Your gift tags look brilliant...xx
Lists. That's all I've done. Help. Am trying to do it all in December, carefully, week by week. I'll let you know how it goes!
So far all I've done is decorate the house and done much of the present buying. I need to get myself more organised VERY soon.
