sorry for your loss. its never easy loosing someone you love esp a parent. 71 is too young these days.
i do feel a bit weird commenting as you dont know me, but i have lost a parent and i know how lost you can feel so i just want to say im here and i feel loss.

I lost my own dear dad when he was only 63. Way too young for someone who survived an abusive, alchoholic, adulterous dad who abandoned he and his six siblings! He grew up to be uberdad to my 3 sisters, walked 4 girl cousins down the aisle and helped dad 3 male cousins including putting the handicapped one to bed nightly and being scout master to his brother. He would take me with him to bring food baskets to the poor. When I saw books in the basket I asked "Dad, why are we giving them books?" He replied "So their children have something to open for Christmas." I'm still taking care of the poor like he taught me. Last year I raised U.S.. $946,000 for them.
